The Medical Link’s Principals share a passion and dedication to this industry. From their deep and active involvement in a multitude of organizations, they have developed a highly respected reputation with broad recognition among Senior Executives that allows them to connect clients personally with heads of major insurance institutions. The synergy between them yields the sophisticated knowledge and insights of very large firms.
Mickey Lyons
Founding Partner Mickey Lyons serves as President and uses his extensive insurance and legislative lobbying experience to improve America’s Healthcare System by helping employers maintain the health of their employees while reducing costs. He is particularly motivated to help organizations working in the Non-Profit, Community Outreach, and Diversity sectors and is an ardent supporter of the National Diversity Council. He has also served the Independent Doctors of New York, the Society of Human Resources Management, and is the former president for NYMAHU, eventually being awarded their Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mickey's other affiliations include: The NYC and NY State Legislative Council for National Association of Health Underwriters & National Legislative Committees, the Empire State Health Care Coalition, and the advisory boards for Empire Blue Cross, Aetna, and United Healthcare.
Bryan Erdheim
Managing Partner Bryan Erdheim is responsible for strategic client relationships and negotiations. His passion is delving into the details and helping organizations achieve their goals, educating and leading them through the complex phases. Specifically, Bryan specializes in the large group (over 100 employees) marketplace, generating all solutions: fully insured, self-insured, stop loss marketing, risk management, and employee wellness. He also manages PEO partnerships, which provide all-in-one solutions for employers, and offers tech solutions for day-to-day operations, employee tracking, and open enrollment.
A seasoned industry veteran, Bryan brings ten years of Property & Casualty experience and expertise to his 20 years with the Medical Link.His individual industry involvement includes currently serving on advisory boards for both Prestige PEO and Cigna, served as the Program Chair at NYMAHU, as well as his involvement in the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
